Triplets Look For Love...
Although Jill doesn't like to be photographed, her sisters eat up the spotlight. These triplets have been living with Cascades Humane Society for 4 months now. Jill (pictured left), Sabrina (middle) and Kelly (right) all share space with four other cats in the Long Term Resident Room. You can find these girls curled up together in the hammock, or snuggling in the volunteers lap for an afternoon nap. Jill, Sabrina, and Kelly get along well with other kitties however, they haven't spent any time with a dog. The girls would love to go home together but they also wouldn't mind being the only kitty in the home. More attention for them! Come on in and spend some time with these special girls and ask staff about their special adoption fees.

To All Of My "4 Legged" Friends And "2 Legged" Friends....
Ava, adopted by a CHS volunteer in November 2007, recently wrote this letter in response to a get-well card sent to her earlier this month.
To all of my "4 legged" and "2 legged" friends:
THANK YOU so much for the card! Toady I am feeling much better but just this week I had to go back for another blood transfusion at MSU. They have been teaching me a lot of big words! They say I have a somewhat rare blood condition called 'myelofibrosis'. Basically, my bone marrow doesn't rgenerate enough red blood cells. When my red blood cell count is low, I become very weak and tired. But I have an awesome team of specialists who are working on my side. The people at MSU are wonderful! They give me lots of treats, soft blankets to lay on, and unlimited hugs and kisses. They tell me and my family that I am a "great patient". Thank you so much for all of your work in finding me a family that loves me no matter what the circumstances. I hope to come visit you soon! Also, Ruffus (also adopted from CHS)wants to send his love too! Again, thank you so much.
Lots of Love,
Ava
